Griswold’s Magical Memories  - Rental Agreement

 
Agreement to rent Disney Vacation Club Points through Griswold’s Magical Memories.

This electronic agreement is made on <INSERT DATE> by and between <INSERT RENTER> ('Renter') and <INSERT OWNER> ('Member') by Griswold’s Magical Memories ('Intermediary').

I, <INSERT RENTER> have been advised by Griswold’s Magical Memories Disney Vacation Club Rentals to consider the purchase trip cancellation insurance.

Griswold’s Magical Memories is not liable for any operational changes by the Disney Vacation Club with respect to where you have booked your travel. This would include but is not limited to operations of resort restaurants, pools, playgrounds and other amenities controlled by the Resort. The Walt Disney Company and the Disney Vacation Club are constantly improving their resorts and properties for the current and future enjoyment of all guests. Your trip or your resort amenities may or may not be impacted by construction at Disney resorts and properties. While Disney might offer you access to alternate amenities, Griswold’s Magical Memories assumes no responsibility for situations that are not under its control.

Neither Griswold’s Magical Memories nor the Member (Owner) will assume any responsibility for specific room requests not honored by Disney at the time of arrival.

Note: All Disney Vacation Homes, including the balconies, are NON SMOKING. You will be assessed a cleaning fee by Disney Vacation Club if smoking takes place by anyone in your traveling party, or anyone whom you allow access to your vacation home. You will be required to acknowledge this on check-in. If such a fee is assessed, you, the Renter, accept full responsibility for the charge(s)

The Intermediary has received from Renter a NON REFUNDABLE payment of <INSERT RENTAL AMOUNT> US Dollars in return for a confirmed reservation, using the Member's points, at <INSERT DVC RESORT> in a <INSERT ACCOMMODATE ROOM TYPE> to arrive on <INSERT Check-in DATE> and depart on <INSERT Check-out DATE>  with a confirmation number of <INSERT CONFIRMATION NUMBER>.


The following persons will occupy the room:

NOTE: This is Lead Name on the reservation and cannot be changed.

The Renter, having replied with acceptance of this agreement via e-mail and also having paid the NON REFUNDABLE balance due of <INSERT RENTAL AMOUNT> US Dollars in full, acknowledges the Renter’s ability to confirm the reservation at DCV Check-in Portal as well as pre-registering up to 60 days in advance of the scheduled arrival date. Renter agrees to abide by all Disney Vacation Club terms, policies and rules applicable to Disney Vacation Club members and Disney Vacation Club membership. Renter agrees to be responsible for any unpaid charges or damages to the unit rented, including all contents and improvements, Disney Vacation Club property and Disney property during his/her stay that are assessed against the Member or his membership. Any unpaid charges or damages assessed, including those resulting from violation on in-room smoking fee,  shall be reimbursed to the Member or the Intermediary or their assigned agents within 14 days of notice to Renter. Sending a fax or e-mail copy of a Disney Vacation Club or other Walt Disney Company communication assessing the charges or damages shall satisfy notice to the Renter. Renter agrees to pay any and all charges to the Member or the Intermediary or their assigned agents for any fees or charges related to the collection of any monies owing.

This is an agreement to rent points that represent accommodations only. There are no ticket media, transportation, meals, transfers, insurance, or other items included.

Renter understands there are no daily housekeeping services at Disney Vacation Club resorts, but rather Trash and Towel service. If Renter's stay is for less than eight nights, Renter will receive Trash & Towel service on day four. If Renter's stay is for eight nights or longer, The Renter will receive full cleaning service on Day 4, and Trash & Towel service on Day 8. After that, the cycle begins again on Day 14. Day 1 is check-in day.

Should accommodations not be available on date of arrival due to an action or omission by the Member, including but not limited to negligence on the part of the Member and after communication with the Intermediary, suitable comparable accommodations for the same dates cannot be secured by the Member, the Renter will be due a refund limited to the amount paid which is <INSERT RENTAL AMOUNT> US Dollars.

Pets are not permitted to stay at Disney Vacation Club Resorts, except for service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act.
