Cancellation Policy

Due to the complexity of the point system and the fact that Members may have to bank or borrow points in order to secure your reservation, all sales are final and cancellations are not permitted. You agree to these terms when you make your payment.

Also, the lead guest name must also remain the same due to a rental agreement between the guest and the member, however, you are permitted to add or delete the additional guests listed in the room with you.

You should explore the possibilities of adding Travel Insurance to protect yourself against unexpected situations.

2. Complete our on-line reservation form
Use the form on this page to complete your reservation request.

3. Receive an Email Confirmation
Once we match your reservation request with an Owner with points that can secure your reservations, you will receive via e-mail:

Your Reservation Confirmation Number, in your name
A link that will give you access to your full reservation details on the Disney Vacation Club website. You will be able to go online and view your full reservation details.

Please note: Because of our agreement with the member whose points we use for your reservation, we are required to provide them payment the day the reservation is made.

4. Pay Final Invoice
You will receive a second e-mail with a secure online payment invoice to process your balance due. Your payment in full is your acceptance of the rental agreement. You can click here to see a Sample Rental Agreement. You will receive a copy of the fully-executed rental agreement upon our receipt of your payment.

We accept Visa and MasterCard as well as PayPal with no additional processing fees. All payment transactions are fully SECURE and fully GUARANTEED.

5. Online Check-in

You will be treated as if you are a DVC member (owner) yourself. You have full access Disney's online check-in service. You may begin accessing Disney's Online Check-In Service immediately to view your reservation details. You can make advance dining reservations starting 180 days before arrival and FastPass+ reservations 60 days prior. Also 60 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, you will be able to pre check-in, add room requests and enter information about special occasions you are celebrating during your visit.

At Check-in, your Magic Bands (if you didn't receive them in advance) and other registration materials will be waiting for you at a special welcome location where Cast Members will be available to provide additional information and answer questions.

Note that online check-in does not guarantee your Villa(s) will be ready upon arrival at the resort. The standard check-in time is 4 p.m.

Four DVC resorts do not offer an online check in. They are the Grand Californian, Hilton Head, Vero Beach, and Aulani.

How Griswold's Magical Memories Disney Vacation Club Rentals Works & How You Save!

Our Very Simple Rental Process

Renting Points from us for a memory-filled, magical Walt Disney World Vacation couldn’t be easier. Just follow these

5 simple steps:

1. Pick your Travel Dates & Preferred Disney Vacation Club Villa Accommodations.

Disney Vacation Club Villas can fill up months in advance, especially during peak seasons. As a result, the earlier you book, the greater the likelihood that Disney will have your preferred resort and room type available. (Note that rooms can't be booked more than 11 months in advance).
Still, great rooms can often still be found just 2 or 3 months in advance, depending on the season. Four to eight months in advance is the most common booking window we see.

To determine the cost of your stay, (and how much you will save using Griswold’s Magical Memories) use our DVC Points Calculator below. Points rent for $20 - $22 each. For reservations less than 7 months in advance the fee is $20 per point rented. For reservation made more than 7 months in advance the fee is $22. Your Total Rental Cost is the number of points you need multiplied by either $20 or $22 depending on how far in advance you are making your reservation.

(PLEASE NOTE: Our Calculator is based on Disney's 2020 Points Charts for Disney Vacation Club Villas and should be used ONLY to see estimated points totals for 2021 vacations.)

Example: A 1 Bdrm Standard View Villa at Disney’s Boardwalk for 6 nights beginning June 5, 2016 is 140 Points. The cost for 140 Points at $20/point = $2,800.00. That’s your TOTAL COST! If you booked the SAME Villa through Disney, the rates (as of June 17, 2021) are $629/night plus tax. That would make your Total Cost through Disney Central Reservations $4,640.00.
